Explicit sex (m/m, voyeurism/exhibitionism, watersports), explicit language, one MMC is recovering from addiction to opiates (heroin). The MMC is in a coma for part of the book with the other MMC experiencing grief, fear, and anger about his condition. The MMC in a coma was in a car accident and suffered from a drug overdose (attempted murder), though there is question of if he relapsed or intentionally harmed himself (he did not). One MMC’s father died as a firefighter (off page). The main characters have parents who died in a car accident when they were teenagers (off page). There are POV scenes from the villain’s perspective. The villain is a sociopath who commits acts of murder, dubious consent/non-consent, drug dealing, and other displays of disregard for human life or consent. He is not a redeemable character and is not intended to romanticized in anyway.

Explicit sex (m/f, f/f, f/f/m, cock warming), explicit language. One FMC has a history of being physically abused by her father. She has minor injuries at the start of the story and is being framed for a crime she did not commit. There are multiple references to a drug ring as well as continuing scenes from the villain’s perspective with ongoing murder, non-consent, drug dealing, and arson plot lines. The FMC and a side character are kidnapped and held prisoner, when rescued by the MMC, two side characters, and other FMC, they kill (sometimes without proper cause) to rescue them.

Explicit sex (m/f, degradation/rough sex, free use), explicit language. The relationship is between characters with a three-and-a-half-year age gap. While scenes are depicted before the FMC is eighteen, there is no physical intimacy (including kissing) until she is eighteen. The FMC struggles with guilt and grief from the death of her parents (who died in a car accident, possibly while she was on the phone with them). She spends ten years not addressing her mental health regarding their accident. A side character is in a coma as a result of his attempted murder. There are multiple references to a drug ring as well as continuing scenes from the villain’s perspective with ongoing murder, non-consent, drug dealing, and arson plot lines. The FMC and a side character are kidnapped and held prisoner, when rescued by the MMC, two side characters, and other FMC, they kill (sometimes without proper cause) to rescue them. The FMC has her nipples and clitoral hood pierced on page, the MMC pierces his own tongue on page.
